Registration Changes for All Grades ~ 2012 – 2013

All of our current students have re-registered, therefore, enrollment is now open for new students. Please give our main office a call (617.323.1050) to inquire and/or book an appointment for a tour.

New Early Childhood Program

St. Theresa’s Early Childhood Program is now offering a new part-time schedule commencing September 2012. This program is geared towards those families who have flexible work schedules and would like the convenience to adjust the days/times their young children will be attending school. The child’s scheduled days/times may be changed with advanced written notice.

Early Childhood Flex Program 2012 – 2013 ~
3 Day Half & 3 Day Full
4 Day Half & 4 Day Full
5 Day Half & 5 Day Full

Part – Time Hours are available for example:

8:00 – 12:00 p.m.
9:00 – 1:00 p.m.
10:00 – 2:00 p.m.
10:30 – 2:30 p.m.

There is a 4 hour minimum per day, (flexible) 12 hour minimum per week at $10.00 per hour.

Congratulations, Monsignor

We are celebrating the “Year of Monsignor Helmick”: 25th year as a pastor, 50 years as a priest and 75 years young! Monsignor has generously given our children and staff a day off in celebration of his silver, gold and diamond anniversaries.
Our day off will be Friday, May 25th. Thank you, Monsignor, for extending our Memorial Day weekend.

First Communion ~ May 5th

Congrats to all of our 2nd Graders who will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 5th. God bless you all!

Mother ~ Daughter Tea, April 29th

The Mother ~ Daughter Tea will be held Sunday, April 29th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Ladies of all ages are invited to attend. Girls can bring their favorite doll or stuffed animal. The Tea Party will include a lunch, fashion show and parade of all the young girls with their dolls and stuffed animals. Tickets are now on sale, $15 for an adult ticket, $12 per child. Tickets must be purchased in advance, tickets will not be sold at the door.

Catholic Charities

Thank you to all St. Theresa families who have generously donated food items to the Catholic Charities and continue to do so. We have received an abundance of food that is gratefully appreciated. We are continually collecting non-perishable items that can be brought into the office – keep up the good work.

Father ~ Son Hockey Game, 3/3

The Father ~ Son Event will take place on Saturday, March 3rd. Fathers & Sons will attend the BC vs. Vermont hockey game held at Conte Forum at Boston College. Enjoy a fun night out with your Dad!

Uniform Exchange ~ Friday, 3/30

We will be hosting a Uniform Exchange on Friday, 3/30 in the school yard from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. Perfect time to save money and grab uniforms for next year. All of the uniforms at the exchange are in great condition.

Tuition

Your tuition bill will be mailed to your home on Friday, February 10th for Plans B & C. It is of the utmost importance that your child’s FULL NAME be noted on your check for proper identification to your account. Reminder: Plans B & C Tuition bills will be due on March 1st.

Mock Trial ~ Friday, 3/30/12

The students in grades 5 – 8 have been learning about the law. They are preparing for a Mock Trial that will be held on Friday, March 30th @ 7:00 p.m. in the school gym. We have been fortunate enough to have Boston College Law Students assisting our students with research about the courts and legal system.

The students are busy investigating, stay tuned for futher details re: this case.
